Hello fellow readers
Hope you are enjoying this fine spring we have been having. I am very much looking forward to getting in my car at the end of the day and it being really warm. It will be even better when I get in of a morning and its warm! I do apologise with being so late for the post, but I have had a busy month!
So another month gone, I still can’t believe it is the March is gone. It seemed only yesterday that it was February. Anyway another month gone and with that goes another book. This months theme was Read a Vintage book, so I chose one that came in the Prudence and The Crow package, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials Mystery.
This was a very enjoyable read. If you can get passed the 1930’s dialogue and middle/upper class British characters it was great. Of course part of reading a Murder Mystery is of course the melodrama and this was chock-full of them! It made a very interesting read. I would recommend it for anyone who likes Miss Marple style stories.
Our theme for this month is a childhood favourite so myself and the Bookie Monsters have chosen Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison.
